RecruitRank awards honour agencies purely through candidate feedback

London 17 November 2006 – ecrm people was declared the winner of the Best Understanding of Jobseeker Needs (Small Agency) and Best Industry Knowledge (Small Agency) categories of Jobsite’s inaugural RecruitRank awards ceremony in London on 9th November. Recognising best practice and customer service in recruitment agencies, the RecruitRank awards (www.recruitrank.co.uk) are the only accolades in the industry where finalists and winners are chosen by feedback from over 40,000 job candidates and not an industry judging panel.  

The Best Understanding of Jobseeker Needs (Small Agency) award was presented to the recruitment agency that has shown the best understanding of what their candidates actually want out of their jobs and their lives. The award for Best Industry Knowledge (Small Agency) was for the agency who has been rated most highly for their knowledge of the industry in which the candidate works, and use of that knowledge to give them good advice.

Launched by Jobsite in November 2005 with the aim of raising standards in the industry, RecruitRank tiers recruitment agencies based on the experiences jobseekers had when dealing with the organisations. It allows candidates to feedback anonymously on the quality of an agency’s service after they have applied for a vacancy advertised by them on Jobsite.  Recruiters have personal, private access to this essential customer feedback, enabling them to monitor and, if necessary, improve their service offering. The winner within each category was selected through a culmination of this feedback over a 12 month period.

The awards, which are in their first year, were held on 9 November in London.
